We give a lot of thought and attention to the aesthetics of the indoor and outdoor environment of the centre. Small learning areas are available inside and outside to encourage play and friendships as well as providing places for contemplation.

A variety of play materials is always available to the children, including: an extensive set of large building blocks; musical instruments, dolls, hats and clothes from around the world; books; puppets; and art and craft materials. In the 'home room' we have a wide range of dress-up clothes, dolls, furniture and equipment to encourage creative play.
The back verandah is where lots of exciting art, science, maths, language and literacy experiences take place. In the playground the many trees, plants and natural ground surfaces create a pleasant play area with separate spaces for small and large groups and for quiet and vigorous activities.
