Community Preschool
Types of Care and Fees
At Possums’ Den all children participate in a play based educational program regardless of the “type of care” accessed by families.
We offer three types of care:
School Term Preschool
(State Govt. funded)
Children attend for 2 days per week from 8am to 3:30pm during school terms.
Currently the fees are subsidised by the NSW Start Strong Preschool and Start Strong Affordable Preschool Funding Program.
Long Day Preschool
(Federal Govt. funded)
Children may attend for up to 5 days per week between 8am and 6pm including school holidays.
The centre closes for 4 weeks over the Christmas period.
The fee is $115.00 per day or less subject to the family’s Child Care Subsidy (CCS) entitlement.
Occasional Preschool
(State Govt. funded)
Caters only for short-term needs. Children may attend for a minimum of 2 hours between 8am and 4pm during school terms.
Fees are $12 per hour.
