Types of Care and Fees

At Possums’ Den all children participate in a play based educational program regardless of the “type of care” accessed by families. 

We offer three types of care:

School Term Preschool

(State Govt. funded)

Children attend for 2 days per week from 8am to 3:30pm during school terms.

The fees are:           

• $23 per day for 4 to 5 year old children(children must turn 4 years by the 31st July of the year enrolled)

• $15 per day for 3 to 5 year old children from Aboriginal or Health Care Card holding families .

Long Day Preschool

(Federal Govt. funded)

Children may attend for up to 5 days per week between 8am and 6pm including school holidays.

The centre closes for 4 weeks over the Christmas period.

The fee is $90.00 per day or less  depending on the family’s Child Care Subsidy (CCS) entitlement. 

Occasional Preschool

(State Govt. funded)

Caters only for short-term needs. Children may attend for a minimum of 2 hours between 8am and 4pm during school terms.

Fees are $10 per hour.
